§ Kenya being a tourist friendly country makes travelling generally safe.
§ Modesty kind of dressing is highly encouraged most especially when visiting mosques, temples or other places of worship, to avoid offending local customs.
§ You shouldn’t forget to move with your passport, visa and photo identity, and documents like driver’s license. You are advised to make photocopies of these documents, which you will move with, while putting a way the originals in a safe place.
§ While taking on a safari, dress in light cotton, Khakhis and neutral earth colors are perfect.
Sweatshirts or jackets help combat the hill chill in winter. In summer, a large hat or sunshade is quite necessary. Don’t forget to come with a pair of sunglasses and sunscreen.

§ Before embarking on a Kenya trip, the recommended inoculations are Cholera, Polio, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Tetanus Booster as well as Gamma Globulin for protection against Hepatitis A.
§ If you are on any kind of medication, you are advised to come along with it since you might not find the same medication in Kenya.
