Mt. Kenya Safari

From the 8-day Mt. Kenya climb, you can expect the following activities:

Two totally contrasting and differentiated walks are produced by the climbing experience which joins Sirimon and Chogoria, two of the most utilised climbs up Mt. Kenya. The Chogoria route is extensively differentiated by it’s sylvan forests as well as it’s attractive bamboo from the Sirimon route, which emanates from the West and goes through the dry side of the mountain..

Day 1: Nairobi-Mt. Kenya Safari, Nairobi:
In Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, is the Norfolk Hotel which contributes a lot to warmly welcoming the large groups of tourist.
A kaleidoscope variety of sight seeing, inclusive of which are wildlife and tourist destinations such as the highly respectable National Museum, Giraffe Manor and the Karen Blixen homestead, is made available especially for the tourists arriving very early in the day.

Day 4: Shipton’s Camp:
In about 5-6 hours, most of the tourists trekking can easily traverse the distance. Usually, one can make it to the destination planned, on the fourth day.
The next stop centre is the Mackinders valley.

Day 5: Shipton’s Camp:
In the early hours of the fifth day, the tourists reach the Kami Hut.
Things you can expect to find at this hut include; rock formations, which are both natural and dangerous, together with many picturesque alpine pools and lakes.
The night is spent at Shipton’s Camp as initially planned.

Pt. Lenana, Mt. Kenya Safari:
Day 6:  Summit at Pt. Lenana:
It’s best before sunrise, to make a middle-of-the-night climb to arrive at Point Lenana. Among the beautiful scenery that you can witness, once the climb is complete, include the legendary African peak to the South, the all-submitting Indian Ocean to the East, Mt. Elgon and Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Before the weather becomes quite unfavourable, the tourists should have climbed down.

Day 7: Nairobi:
Tourists, on the 7th day, climb all the way through the rich, magnificent and impressing bamboo forest to Park Gate.
Massive stands of St. John’s Wort are part of the other vegetation, which differs in every sense. The tourists go back to the capital City, Nairobi during the afternoon hours after which they spend the night at Norfolk Hotel.
Day 8: Departure:
